Standalone or Add-On

Modulo units can be either Standalone (with touchscreen and controller) or Add-On. Up to 10 frames (21,600 individual locations) can be managed by one standalone.

Using SupplyPoint's VendTel software, Modulo can stand alone, join with other Modulo units, or join installations with other SupplyPoint machines to serve your inventory control needs.

The Dispensing Workflow

From authentication to automated replenishment

Step 01 — Authenticate

VendTel identifies the worker and applies their access profile — role, department, and quantity limits (if applicable).

Step 02 — Select and dispense

The correct drawer opens. Multiple items can be selected in a single transaction, minimizing time spent withdrawing or restocking mixed item requirements.

Step 03 — Transaction recorded

Every issue is logged to a named user, item, quantity, and timestamp — automatically sent to WebSync.

Step 04 — Replenishment triggered.

When stock in any compartment reaches its reorder point, WebSync triggers a replenishment order to your designated supplier — automatically.

Drawer types & Dimensions (per POD)

Drawer type naming (e.g. 3x2) describes the front-facing layout — columns x rows of openings per drawer. Depth is a separate dimension: each opening can be subdivided up to 12 compartments deep, front-to-back, which is where the 'up to 12 compartments per drawer location' capacity comes from.

Drawers can be divided into 2, 3, 4, 6 or 12 compartments. Related compartments depths range from 26mm/1.02" to 312mm/12.28".

Configurable Divider

Modulo can be configured to provide different size drawers and compartments. Up to 10 Modulo frames/machines can be connected to to provide a maximum of 1,200 drawers.

Unique Manual Override

Modulo has a unique manual override which is simple and easy to use in the case of power outages and maintenance situations.

High Speed Access

Rapid search and selection of items via the SupplyPoint software is further enhanced with a complete LED identification system which guides users directly to the drawer containing their items.
